The usual blare that came from the thoughts of the mindless people in the town I was… visiting . The thought of living here made me want to hurl…violently, on top of one of the zombie-like humans here. It disgusted me. Even my human was acting stupid, like all of the other humans here. “You may have gotten the dog’s trust, but I forever hate you!” I screeched to the darkened sky, the moon my only companion. Oh, the thoughts you ask? I hear them. All of the humans think the similar thoughts; the interesting humans however are like TV entertainment to me.
After all, this kind of TV was free! Sadly, it was always on, never turning off, even if you’re going to caterwaul yourself to the sky. My name is Adrian to my intelligent kinds, but…Snuffies to my zombie family. The day started normal, at first…Oh? You don’t want me to boringly describe this? No? Fine.

The world was fuzzy; the white light sometimes blocked by fish, fish out of all things. Where was up, down, left, or right? I could only pray it was still where I was. “Help me, please!” I tried to yowl, but swallowed a gallon of water instead. My head broke through the water prison I was trapped in, the praise of the neon-shirted woman reaching my water-logged ears. “Good boy, I knew you were a good kitty kins!” She cooed, rubbing me on the head, scratching me behind my ears, the way I like it. “I suppose I can forgive you, just this once,” I grumbled, my ginger ears flattening against my scalp. I was in the shelter, hungry, and wet. A bath was what I was given.
A bath-
A punishment-
Water-
What was this world coming to?
